Midnight in Paris. 

Only releasing its sweet and sultry fragrance at night, the beautiful balance of florals and fruits of the irridescent blossom is inspired.  You will become enchanted as the top notes of juicy pear and agave merge with soft floral and marine notes cocooned in a powdery blend of dark musk and amber. 

This candle is infused with Italian lemon essential oil and hand poured into a chic sapphire glass tumbler.  When lit the blue glass takes on a beautiful purple hue.

Caring for your candles

All WaxWing Poetic candles are hand-poured in our studio using clean-burning luxury coconut apricot wax. Soon after you light your candle you'll notice a difference in the way our coconut apricot wax burns in comparison to a large batch soy or paraffin wax candle. Coconut wax candles burn more slowly and softly and will have a longer burn time than a comparable paraffin wax candle.  

We have worked hard to ensure that your candle burns cleanly and not too hot.  However, always follow best practices when burning candles.  

  • Place your candle on a flat, stable, non-flammable surface.
  • Burn your candle for at least two hours the first time.
  • Trim wicks to 1/4 inch for cleaner burns; they are trimmed to this length when you receive them.
  • Never leave lit candle unattended.
  • Never burn more than 4 hours at one time.
  • Keep away from pets and children.
  • Do not leave near open window or flammable objects.
  • Do not store in sunny, warm areas (so they do not melt).

Outstanding products

I love, love, love the WaxWing Poetic products. I use them myself, and have ordered gift boxes of selected surprises for friends and family. They come boxed beautifully. The creators of these aromatic self care products have uniquely named their business "Waxwing Poetic" and will include their story in the gift boxes. I am intentional about gifting my friends and family with surprises that have meaning.
I especially like the face scrubs - so refreshing!!!! And the candles are wonderful for creating a welcoming and relaxing environment.

These candles will bring me such joy!

Now that I have burned both of these candles, I am in heaven! Moonflower Nectar is so sensual....and deeply comforting....though I can't explain why! Green Tea and Lemongrass smells like late spring/early summer to me, and it reminds me of my childhood, when we spent hours outdoors, instead of inside with the A/C on high. I didn't notice the fragrance so much back then, until the scent of the candle called me back.
